San Diego Trip for Nephew - Prayers Please

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY

We have answer to prayers!!!
Eric does not have bone cancer!
This means that his cancer remains at Stage 3 Large Cell Lymphoma. If he had been found to have cancer in his bones, it would have been Stage 4 cancer, but since it is NOT in his bones, it is stage 3. Glory to God! Thank you to everyone who prayed!

Eric had his first chemotherapy treatment yesterday. His energy is really drained and he is nauseous. The doctors are working to get his military orders transferred to San Antonio, Texas for two reasons. One being his mom and brother live there, and the second is that there is a military base there where Eric can take the rest of his chemotherapy treatments while being with his family. The doctors feel this is very important for Eric to be with family during chemotherapy treatment so they are working very hard to get his orders transferred as quickly as possible. We would ask that you not only pray for Eric's health as he is so sick at this time, but also for his military orders - that the doctors are able to get them finalized to San Antonio, Texas. They want to fly him to San Antonio quickly before the next chemotherapy treatment time so that he can get settled into my sisters home.

I may be going home in a few days, but my sister will stay here until Eric leaves which we believe will be very soon. Please continue praying for Eric's cancer, the treatments, and the depression he has that has set in; as well as the military orders to get fixed smoothly and correctly which will help Eric if he can get home to San Antonio and be able to stay with his mother and brother. Blessings to all!

San Diego Trip for Nephew - Prayers Please

Cast all your anxiety upon Him because
He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

Hello dear bloggy friends! I'm in San Diego spending time with my sister and her son, Eric, who is of course, my nephew. I'm asking please for your continued prayers for him who I mentioned in the previous post is 22 years old. He's changed so much losing about 20 or more pounds already, is very weak, and is in an intolerable amount of pain curling up in a fetal position. After doing a PET Scan, the doctors told us he not only has lymphoma cancer in the groin area but also in his abdomen as well as all the way up his abdomen to his chest and below his throat. He has never been a smoker! The doctor stated Eric is in Stage 3 cancer and the name of it is Aplastic large cell lymphoma.

We were so thankful to be able to attend church service yesterday on the Naval base. Eric, my sister, and I attended and it was so good to be together at church.

A bone marrow biopsy was done to see if Eric has cancer in his bones. The doctor stated if Eric has cancer in his bones, he would then be considered to have Stage 4 Cancer. We are waiting on those test results. Please pray for Eric as he is in alot of pain, and please pray for my sister, Sunny, too.

I'm blogging from the hospital library. I'm so thankful they have computer access for us to use. As soon as I know more, I'll be back with more info so please keep watch for more posts and please keep each of us in your prayers, especially Eric. Thank you all for caring!
